feeling kinda
short entry, as i'm feeling craptastic and paying the price for seeing the gang last night.
work is finally getting productive, and i managed to get a fair bit done today. that felt good, anyway.
and i headed down to the Orpheum, briefly, to help out. i thought i'd just be training a few new people coming in this season, and that would be that. an hour didn't seem like such a bad deal.
it turned in to a bit more than that, and i almost didn't make it through. it was hot and muggy and foggy in there, from the smoke machines. i had a hard time breathing at all. and instead of training people and leaving, i ended up splitting for over two hours. urgh.
some nice changes down there - they've cleaned the carpet! i called jeff over at one point, and said 'watch!', then stepped on and off a spot on the carpet. he didn't get it. 'look! i don't stick to it anymore.' the vacuum cleaner tracks were kind of the giveaway, as the carpet still looks pretty grody.
that, and i noticed the paint job last time. that made me sort of sad. while it's good to have the walls painted, they painted over nearly 10 years of graffitti in the bathrooms. what is up with that? :(
headed out as soon as (in)humanly possible, got kitty litter, fed and watered the cats, walked the dogs, and promptly passed out after making the bed. :/
