this month's topic for Dear X: thank you.
Mostly Unsent
dear inventor of NyQuil -
i was happy enough that you had invented a substance that knocked out nearly every cold i had in one dose. but i dreaded taking it. swallowing down that syrup that tastes like melted tires with a splash of Jaegermeister? *gag* so imagine my delight, nay, ecstasy! when i discovered NyQuil in capsule form. truly, you are an angel of mercy.
sincere thanks -
beth
dear vet -
i'm worried about my kitty. your calm reassurance and competence helps. plus the fact that you're right around the corner, and bend your schedule to accomodate my work hours. thanks for doing what you do well.
Kitty Mom
dear earl -
i know i say this every time you give me a driving lesson, but let me say it again. thanks. thanks for your patience, thanks for making time to help me, thanks for helping me master the clutch, thanks for giving me the gift of a little more independence.

dear Mother Nature -
i have no idea if it's good or bad (global warming, you know), but the weather this weekend promises to be wonderful. two whole days of 70 weather? and sunny? yay! unseasonable, for sure, as every meteorologist has taken the pains to point out. still, lovely.

dear landlord -
i'm so happy to have found this place, and the fact that you have only raised my rent by a pittance each year is such a gift. i almost feel guilty mentioning this, and i hope i'm not jinxing anything by saying that.
gratefully,
your tenant
dear s -
thanks for being my best friend. there just aren't words enough to tell you how much you mean to me.
love and hugs -

dear d -
you've turned me on to some really great music lately. while i'm not so happy to be running out of shelf space for my CDs *again*, the music makes me really happy.
